Craft over speed
Every portrait is reviewed by a human before it leaves the studio. We'd rather keep you waiting a day than send something we wouldn't hang ourselves.

We design, print and frame portraits of the animals that share our homes — with the same care other people reserve for their children's art.

We started this studio because we couldn't find anyone who would take a slightly blurry phone photo of a scruffy rescue and turn it into something worth hanging in a hallway.
Most pet portrait services we found were either gift-shop novelties or gallery commissions with six-week waits and four-figure price tags. Nothing in between felt honest.
So we built what we wanted: a minimalist house style, a real human reviewing every proof, giclée printing on archival paper, and British-made wood frames — all at a price that doesn't make you flinch.
The result is a portrait that looks considered, not cute. Something a guest might stop in front of without knowing the story. Something you'll still love when the pet in it is old news and sleeping in the sun.
The short list of things we decided at the start and haven't found a good reason to change.

If a proof isn't right, we remake it. If a frame arrives bruised, we replace it. No forms, no small print, no fuss.
Giclée inks on archival matte paper, solid wood mouldings, trimmed and framed on this island. We know everyone who touches your order.
Acid-free stock, pigment inks, proper joinery. These portraits are designed to be passed down, not replaced next spring.
A tiny cross-section of the pets we've had the pleasure of drawing. Every one of them is on a wall somewhere in Britain.

The long version of what happens between the photo you send and the portrait you unwrap. No shortcuts, no outsourcing — just three steps we've spent years getting right.
It nearly always starts with a phone. A photo taken in the moment — ears up, tongue out, early evening light. We don't need a studio shoot. We need the one you already love.
We lift your pet out of the background and re-draw them as a quiet, minimalist study. Fur is softened, light is gentled, and the likeness is carefully preserved. You approve a digital proof before anything meets paper.
Giclée inks on heavyweight, acid-free matte stock. A solid wood moulding in black or white, glazed in crystal-clear perspex, packed with more care than it probably deserves. On your wall by the weekend.
You'll see a digital proof before anything is printed, and nothing leaves the studio until you've signed it off. If it still arrives and something isn't right, tell us.
The photo you send us stays between you and the studio. We won't reuse your pet's likeness in marketing (unless you give us permission), sell your details on, or email you about things you didn't ask for.
And if one day the frame you chose goes out of fashion, we promise the print inside it won't. It's acid-free, pigment-inked.
Upload your favourite photo and we'll create a stunning portrait, printed and framed right here in the UK. It only takes two minutes.
