- Is this a good gift if I don't have great photos of their pet?
- Usually yes. A couple of decent phone snaps in daylight is enough for us to work with. If what you've got genuinely won't work, we'll tell you before we take payment — you can quietly ask for better photos without spoiling the surprise.
- Can I gift it as a surprise?
- Often — if the recipient isn't the one whose pet you're portraying, or if you've got photos already. If you need to get proofs approved without them seeing, email us at hello@furframes.co.uk after ordering and we'll route the proof through you instead of them.
- How quickly can it arrive?
- From order to door is typically a week in the UK — 48 hours for a proof, a couple of days for printing and framing, and tracked delivery from there. If you're up against a deadline, email us and we'll tell you honestly whether we can make it in time.
- Is it suitable for a bereavement?
- Yes, and we treat those orders with particular care. If the portrait is of a pet who has passed, see our dedicated pet memorial portrait page for how we handle the process gently.
- What if the recipient doesn't like it?
- Send us a photo and a note — we'll remake it or refund you. A gift that misses is worse than no gift at all; we'd rather make it right.
